Foster Construction is a locally owned and operated small business founded by Brett Hodgdon, a professional engineer, and Amber Hodgdon, a former corporate lawyer. Brett Hodgdon, P.E.

Co-Owner and Engineer

Brett is a licensed Professional Engineer, contractor and home inspector who has been serving customers for over 15 years. Since 2007, Brett has completed 4,200 home inspections, and developed over 200 structural designs for various foundation and framing repairs. In addition to providing Foster Construction’s engineering services in West Virginia, Brett oversees all field operations for the business.

Amber Hodgdon

Co-Owner

Before beginning her journey at Foster Construction, Amber spent 12 years working as a corporate lawyer. Now, as co-owner of the business, she works alongside her husband Brett to uphold our commitment to providing unmatched service and lasting results. Amber oversees all aspects of general administration to ensure efficient, effective operations.

David Coles

Project Coordinator

David brings more than 20 years of foundation repair experience to the business. From diagnosing structural issues to providing repair recommendations and estimates, David aims to deliver consistent results and lasting value to every customer. Before becoming a project manager, he worked “on the ground,” becoming an expert in the field who has successfully installed all products used by Foster Construction.
